World oil demand exceeded pre-Covid level in late 2022: OPEC

World oil demand exceeded pre-pandemic levels in the last three months of 2022 and will grow further this year after China lifted its zero-Covid policy, OPEC said Tuesday.

Demand reached 101.17 million barrels per day in the fourth quarter, the Saudi-led oil cartel said, compared to 100.79 mbd in the same period in 2019.
