Shell payment disclosures welcomed, but with caveats

Required transparency disclosures from Royal Dutch Shell are welcomed, but the disclosures are not widespread, advocates said Tuesday. Shell released details on payments made to more than two dozen governments in countries where it does business. The disclosure obliges with requirements made by the British government in 2014.
