Scotland pressed to exploit onshore oil and gas reserves

Thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in tax revenue could come from the onshore oil and gas sector in Scotland, a report published Thursday found. The Scottish government last year ruled that natural gas derived from underground coal deposits would have no place in a greening economy.
