OECD urges Canada to hike oil sands taxes
Montreal (AFP) June 11, 2014
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on Wednesday urged Canada to raise taxes on non-renewable resources including its oil reserves, which are the third largest in the world. The organization in an annual report warned that high commodity prices have created "wide regional economic disparities."
