New 'mapping-while-drilling' technology offered by Schlumberger

Oil services company Schlumberger announced Monday that it will introduce the first ever drilling service option that can map reservoirs at the same time . The company said its GeoSphere technology is a first for the industry. It gives operators an opportunity to examine reservoirs at the subsurface layer during drilling.
